MESSAGE FROM THE APSR 2015 CONGRESS PRESIDENT

On behalf of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology and the Local Congress Committee, it is my great pleasure to invite you to the upcoming 20th Congress of the Asian Pacific Society of Respirology (APSR 2015) to be held in the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 3-6 December 2015. This conference will feature the latest advances in basic sciences, epidemiology, research and clinical practice in the field of respiratory medicine by renowned experts from the region and internationally.
The Local Congress Committee has put together a scientific programme in the form of scientific symposia, plenary lectures, interactive sessions and workshops covering Clinical and Respiratory Medicine, Cell and Molecular Biology, Clinical Allergy and Immunology, Environmental and Occupational Health and Epidemiology, Respiratory Infections, Tuberculosis, Asthma, Chronic Obstructive Lung Disease, Lung Cancer, Respiratory Neurobiology and Sleep, Critical Care Medicine, Bronchoscopy and Interventional Techniques, Pediatric Lung Disease, Respiratory Structure and Function, Pulmonary Circulation, and Interstitial Lung Disease. Industry- sponsored satellite symposia will bring the latest developments in new therapies and clinical trials in respiratory illnesses, whilst interactive sessions along with dedicated scientific oral and poster presentations will allow active participation and exchange of information with our distinguished faculty. Accepted abstracts will be eligible for consideration for the APSR Travel Award and APSR Young Investigator Award.
Lastly, we hope that this meeting will provide ample opportunity for networking with colleagues, friends and exhibitors. Malaysia also offers a variety of visitor attractions in and around Kuala Lumpur, where you will be able to sample our local hospitality.
